Quinn’s Week-long Adventure: The Quinn Showcase Tour

Quinn’s Weekend Week-long Adventure: The Quinn Showcase Tour

I can’t believe it took me so long to tell you about our Michigan trip. Well, actually I can believe it. Who’s surprised by this, really? But I don’t have time to blog about how I don’t have time to blog…

Anyway, we did it. We flew across the country with Quinn to visit my family in Michigan for a week, and we all lived to tell about it. Here’s the photo recap.

Baby Quinn, all checked in and ready to go.

Quinn was angel on the flights. When he wasn’t sleeping, he was cooing and having a great time.

Flight #1 was a success. After a quick layover in Houston, we were off to Detroit.

Grandma Lori loved seeing Quinn again and got a big kick out of making him laugh.

Uncle Aaron meets his nephew for the first time. In fact, this might be the first time Uncle Aaron’s ever held a baby. I think they like each other.

We had a big family get together for my cousin’s graduation. We’re four generations now.

Always a ladies’ man, Quinn gave lots of snuggles to our cousins, Tracy and Kelly. He’s mesmerized by Tracy’s sparkly blouse.

Cousin Kelly is expecting a little one of her own soon, and she melted when a tired Quinn fell asleep in her arms.

We bought a little pop-up “tent” called a Pea Pod for Quinn to sleep in at the hotel. He LOVED it. We put it on the floor next to our bed, and Quinn slept even better than he does at home.

But he still loved hanging out with Mommy and Daddy in the morning in the grown-up bed.

Grandpa Rocky drove up from Chicago to meet Quinn for the first time, and instantly fell in love.

Here’s Quinn looking quite dapper and ready for a fun day in Frankenmuth with Grandpa.

Quinn looks awfully cute in his little giraffe hoodie.

Guess who’s awake! Q peeking out from under the sun shade during his walk with Daddy.

We went out for dinner and ice cream with my BFF, Nicole, and her family. Quinn made fast friends with her little ones. Aren’t they adorable!

Once again, Quinn was quite popular with the ladies. My dear friends Mindy and Laura adore the little Q-man, too.

On the flights home, Quinn was an angel again. Four months is a GREAT time to fly with a baby!

We arrived back home in time for a Fourth of July barbecue with Hubs' side of the family. Little cousin, Ashlynn, loves playing with the baby.

Quinn wore his most festive attire to celebrate America's birthday.

And finally, more gratuitous photos of our devastatingly handsome son playing with his new favorite toy – his feet.
