Hubs tagged me back in so he could attend a conference this week, so I held down the fort on my own. I’m so glad he’s home now and we’re back to our usual routine. It’s very hard to quietly make dinner after the baby goes to sleep. Here are this week’s R’s.

In Monday’s QWA, I shared the highlights of Quinn’s first wedding and how he and Daddy managed half the weekend by themselves.

On Tuesday, I told you about my trip to Boston for another wedding and my first time away from Quinn… and how the gate agent at the airport saw my ugly side.

In this week’s Not-So-Wordy-Wednesday, you saw two beautiful brides start new chapters in their lives.

Thursday, I paid tribute to my Hubs, my roadie, and told you how our parenting duo works.

This week’s super awesome blogger referral is Moving Smart! This is one of my favorite child development resources. Its’ all about how children learn through physical activity and interacting with their environments. Wanna know how to entertain your toddler while you’re preggers for #2 and dog tired? Boom. Here’s your answer in Too Pregnant to Play. Wanna know how to keep your toddler from falling out of the Big Girl/Boy bed? Read Learning to “Sense” Space. Wanna know the benefits of rocking your baby? Voila! Check out Mommy Cuddles. This blog is full of great ideas and information for parents with kids of all ages. So start reading Moving Smart. And get a pen and paper because you’re going to want to take notes.

This week wasn’t the first time I’ve gushed about my Hubs on this blog. He’s not just my roadie, he’s my Triple H. Check out this old post and find out why he’s so deserving of all this public praise.

In a couple weeks, Hubs and I will celebrate our second wedding anniversary, so the wedding/love/marriage theme (a.k.a., sappy barfy lovey-dovey-ness) will continue in commemoration. Next week, I will finally tell you the story behind Rule #2 (this blog’s URL) because you’ll need that background info for our engagement story. We’re having friends come stay with us this weekend, and they have a baby boy just a few days older than Q. So next week’s QWA will be full of baby adorableness.

Have a great weekend, friends!
