F-R-R-R-iday!

It’s only December 2, and I’m already in a panic about getting everything done. I have lots of family and friends in other states, and I want to make sure I get their gifts shipped to them in time. To do that, I suppose I need to buy them first. Ahhh! Okay, I gotta go shop. Here are the R’s.

Recap

In Monday’s QWA, Quinn celebrated his first Thanksgiving.

On Tuesday, I wrote one of my favorite posts. My son’s memories of winter will be very different than mine.

There’s a Q on the loose! In this week’s Not-So-Wordy Wednesday, you saw Quinn, The Investigator in action.

Thursday, I shared a special Christmas memory of my little brother and me and our Advent Calendar.

Referral

This week’s super awesome blogger referral is Kimberly from Mama’s Monologues. I chose Kimberly this week for a very special reason. She has big news! Now go find out what it is and congratulate her.

I love Kimberly’s blog. She’s a SAHM to three boys (so far), and she has hilarious stories. She’s also a deep, soulful writer who isn’t afraid her pour her heart out. She became a mother early, and being the offspring of a teen mom myself, I feel I can relate to her. Just like I relate to her fears and anxiety, and sometimes I feel like she’s talking right to me. She’s raw, honest and real. And she raps. I dig that.

Kimberly is one of my faves. Read through her blog this weekend, and she’ll become one of yours, too.

Rewind

Remember my first Not-So-Wordy Wednesday post? I never did cut that one hair on Quinn’s head. He has a lot more hair now, but the older hairs are super long and starting to get into his eyes. I should give him a little trim before Christmas. Not sure why the idea of trimming, like, seven hairs on his head makes me sad, but it does.

Tune in next week!

Next week, I’ll talk about going home for Christmas… and not going home for Christmas. And we’re getting our tree this weekend, so the QWA should be full of fun pictures and good times.

Have a great weekend, friends! Happy holidays!
