Quinn’s Weekend Adventures: Okay, ‘night-night

The weekend started out not so great. Quinn caught a little stomach bug on Thursday and had a really rough night. Not to totally gross you out, but I haven’t seen that much vomit since college. Poor little guy.

Twenty-four hours (and four disgusting loads of laundry) later, Q was back to his old self again. That’s the good news. The bad news is that Hubs caught the same bug and was down for the count Friday night and all day Saturday. Poor big guy.

I’m not sure how I made it through the weekend without getting the illness, but I’m glad it passed me by. Someone has to take care of these people! (I really hope I didn’t just jinx myself.)

Somehow, we actually managed to take some fun pictures* this weekend. Quinn’s been all about pillows lately. He lays his head on the toss pillows from the couch and on the boppy. He’s never slept with a pillow, so I don’t know where he got the idea to lay on them, but it’s really cute.

I’ll say "'Night-night, Quinn," and he’ll lay his head down on the pillows and start crawling all over them. If I lay my head on one, he comes over and kisses the side of my face. His kisses involve a whole lot of slobber, but I don’t mind. My heart melts anyway.

Did your heart just melt, too?

*Sorry for the blurriness of some of these photos. Quinn is a blur all the time. Even when he's lying down, he's moving.

    1. I'm definitely going to enjoy this now. My friend said her almost-two-year old now says "no more hugs, mama." It's probably just a phase, but how sad!
