My mommy friends
and I met when our babies were fresh out of the womb, and then one day we
turned around and all our babies were toddlers. We all agree the past year has been a blur.
Quinn was the first of the baby posse to turn one, and now he gets to
attend his friends’ birthday parties. We went to a “Little Monster” themed
birthday party in the park on Sunday, and we partied until 3:00! ... P.M., that is.
Not exactly the break-a, break-a dawn, but Q was damn tired by the time we
left.
Check out all this cuteness.
The hit of the party was the tri-fold board of fabric
monsters. Q sat in front of these monsters FOREVER. They were super soft
fabric, and Q and his buddies kept rubbing the monsters’ bellies. Haha!
Cupcake monsters!
The birthday boy!
Q and his little buddy took a break from the festivities and
hit the swings. (Yes, Q has one of his all-time favorite toys in his hands – a plastic
water bottle.)
Then all four boys showed up! That’s Q in the front about to
fall asleep in the swing.
After the party, Quinn fell asleep in the car. Then, we went
to Grandma and Poppa’s house for a swim and dinner with his cousins. By the
time Q went to bed that night, he could hardly keep his eyes open. Neither
could his Momma. All that partying wore us both out!
Hubs took some other fun pics of Q this weekend, so here’s some
bonus cuteness.
Does this look like
the face of a little boy who would try to sneak out the patio door?
Look at me! I have
three molars! And the remote!!
Ahh, I fart in your
general direction! Just kidding, I’m just downward doggin’.
I found this stale
Cheerio under couch. Wanna share it with me?
