October {Not-so-wordy Wednesday}

For Christmas last year, I made a “Q-thousand-twelve” calendar for all of Quinn’s grandparents. I designed a page for every month myself using digital scrapbooking software, and October was one of my favorite pages.

Look at that cute little giraffeOh, he’s gotten so big since then.

(Attention grandparents: Christmas present spoiler alert!)

I’m in the process of choosing photos for the “Q-thousand-thirteen calendar,” and I can’t believe how many photos we took this year. I’m having a really hard time choosing just a couple for each month. There’s just too much cuteness!

I’m also struggling with designs for each month. Apparently, I used all my digital design creativity on last year’s calendar. Wish me luck! In January, I’ll show you how it turned out.

  1. Good luck! Very cute! I wish I had even just a tiny bit of design skill... Sigh...

    1. Thank you! It's not hard if you have the right software. I tried using Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, but even the latter was too cumbersome for the simple stuff I want to do. Even when it's easy, it can be a time-suck. :)
