I made some more cookies this weekend, and this time I had a cute little elf to help me. I attempted a
couple modifications to two of the cookie recipes. One was a Yuletide success, and the other was a colossal failure.
I updated both recipes, so be sure to check them out in case you plan on making
modifications of your own.
I’m taking the rest of the week off from blogging. I won’t
have time to write, and you won’t have time to read. If fact, you’re probably
not even reading this post right now, and my words are just floating out there
somewhere in the blogosphere.
But that’s okay. It’s Christmas Eve. We all have gifts to wrap,
toys to assemble, cookies to bake and people to hug. The words will still be
here next year, and we could all use a little blogcation around the holidays.
So I leave you with this little batch of cuteness – pictures of Q-man helping me bake cookies in his Elmo Christmas jammies!

Q helps himself to a few chocolate chips before adding them to the batter. |

He pours the rest in like a pro! |

Now he helps Mommy stir it all up... |

... but then stops to fish one more chocolate chip out of the batter. |
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you
all!
Xoxo,
Melissa
