Toddler Christmas {Not-so-wordy Wednesday}

Happy New Year! Hope your holidays were festive and joyous and that your 2013 is off to a spectacular start. We had a wonderfully Merry Christmas, and I thoroughly enjoyed my blogcation.

Hubs and I rang in the new year by putting our tired tot to bed, popping champagne, watching  Ted (which is the best awful movie EVER!), and playing dominoes. We made it to midnight, but passed out soon after we watched the ball drop and saw Jenny McCarthy make out with a marine. (Seriously, what the hell happened to that woman’s face?!)

Christmas is so much fun with a toddler. Watching Quinn’s amazement and wonder made the holiday so special. In addition to the couple of photos I included in the super-cute 2012 recap video, here are a few more pictures of Q’s second Christmas.

I love this picture of Q on Christmas Eve morning. He looks
ready to take on Christmas!

Who can resist a toddler in a sweater vest? Here's Q all dressed
and ready for Christmas Eve dinner at Nama and Poppa's house.

Santa shows up to Christmas Eve dinner every year. This year,
Q was all about St. Nick

"I got a tricycle!!"

Opening his stocking in his new chair. Apparently Santa shops
at Pottery Barn Kids.

Q was already tuckered out at Christmas breakfast at Nama and
Poppa's house, and we hadn't even opened gifts yet.

During Q's nap, Hubs and I opened our gifts and sipped
wine in front of a fire. Doesn't get much cozier than that.

Hubs bought me a KitchenAid mixer! It's shiny and pretty and
Cobalt Blue. I'm thinking of redesigning my entire kitchen around this
mixer. Dude, next year, the cookie baking is going to be ridiculous!

Q opened his presents after his nap. He's the best gift
Hubs and I ever received.
